Inaugural Concert by the Omnia Quartet - Pope Saint John Paul II

"The JP2 Foundation is inaugurating a preparative year to celebrate two major events in 2020 related with Pope Saint John Paul II. The first centenary of the Birth of Karol Wojtyla (18 May 1920 – 2020) and the 30th anniversary of His Pastoral visit to Malta and Gozo (25/26/27 May 1990 – 2020)
An inaugural concert will take place on SATURDAY 25th May 2019 at The Visitation of Our Lady Basilica in Għarb which is the locality that hosted His Holiness on his visit to Gozo. The concert will feature the Omnia Quartet, an international ensemble. Its members hail from Italy, Poland and Hungary. They have graduated from prestigious conservatories in Europe and are all members of Philharmonic Orchestras."

Munxar Village Feast

This week is the Munxar Festa, it is the first of the village feasts.  The saint is St Paul.

On Saturday 25 th May, at 9.15, there will be a fireworks display synchronized with music.

Sunday Funday

On Sunday, 26 th of May at the Gharb Football Ground, there will an activity for families, especially for children.  This event is being organised by F.C Gharb Rangers.
