The Biggest Re-enactment ever held in Malta and Gozo

If you love history or love to see re-enactments, then this event is an opportunity that you must not  miss.

"550 re-enactors from 17 countries shall bring episodes of Gozo’s history back to life by re-creating landmark events illustrating the French invasion of Gozo, the Islanders’ rebellion, and subsequent liberation.
The re-enactment is being organised by HRGM (Historical Re-enactment Groups of Malta) with the collaboration of members of 60 other re-enactment societies coming from places as far apart as Norway and Australia, and Spain and Russia, and who represent Maltese, French and British military forces, and also a number of civilians.
All events in programme are free of charge"
This event is being held on 9 th June and 10 th June, from 10.30 am to 3.00 pm.

The Last Supper

"Għaqda Drammatika Għajnsielem is also organizing a live reenactment of The Lord’s Supper where actors will portray Jesus sharing his final meal with his Apostles before his crucifixion. This activity will take place at Ta' Passi fields where the atmosphere and the natural surroundings including the animals, will take visitors back in time to experience The Last Supper. There will also be a live kitchen where traditional Passover food will be prepared. This activity will be held on Holy (Maundy) Thursday evening, 29th March 2018, from 8.30pm until 11.30pm and the following morning, Good Friday, 30th March 2018, from 9am until 12pm."

Live re-enactment of the Last Supper and Exhibition of the Holy Week - Nadur

From Friday 23 th of March to Friday 30 th of March, one can have the opportunity to see a live re-enactment of the Last Supper.  There is also an exhibition of the Holy week. This will be held at 54, Dun Frangisk Grima, Racecourse Street, Nadur.

Palm Sunday 25 th March 4.00 pm - 9.00 pm
Holy Thursday 29 th March 8.00 pm - 10.30 pm
Good Friday 30 th March 9.30 am - 12.00 pm
