On Saturday and Sunday 22 nd and 23 rd June, in Nadur there will be the annual Agricultural and Artisan Fair. There you can see various animals, handcrafted items, military vehicles etc...

This event is being held on the 22 nd June, from 8.00 pm onward and on the 23 rd June, from 8.00 am onward.

Wirja ta' Santa Marija

The yearly and popular agricultural show, will be held at the Villa Rundle Garden on:

Wednesday 14 th August, from 7.00 pm to 11.00pm, and
Thursday 15 th August, from 7.00 am to 1.00 pm.

An event not to be missed.  Entrance is Free.

International Bee Day

Today it is the international day of bees.  I wanted to make a post on this because although it is a small animal (and terrifying for some), it is of great help to us.  The bees pollinate the fruits and vegetables and without them it would be very difficult to pollinate all of the fruits and vegetables.  Sadly species of bees are dying all around the world.

"If you want to experience the sight and sound of what is purely Gozitan, then head to the Villa Rundle Gardens on the 14th and 15th August, for the Santa Marija Agricultural Fair.

Enjoy the colourful atmosphere, the range of local agricultural and craft produce, livestock, plants and local food to enjoy. Early birds are rewarded with smaller crowds and lower temperatures, so if you want to enjoy this show, be at the Villa Rundle before 9am and soak in the unique atmosphere!"
