St. Anthony of Padua (Ghajnsielem) - Feast

This week is the feast of  St. Anthony of Padua, this year it is being celebrated earlier due to the MEP and Local Council elections which will be held in June.  This is a small feast, but it is a very beautiful feast, the church of St Anthony of Padua is located at the outskirts of Ghajnsielem.

Il Mondo Canta Maria

On the occasion of the 400 anniversary of the miraculous painting of the Blessed Virgin Mary of Ta’ Pinu, a concert is being held on Saturday 17 th August.  Some of the singers are going to be, Italian singers:  Roberto Martucci, Marco Tanduo, Aurelio Pitino with his Modica Gospel Choir, and Maltese singers: Miriam Christine Borg, Debbie Scerri and Charles Buttigieg.

This event will be held at Ta' Pinu Sanctuary, Parvis, from 8.30 pm to 11.30 pm.

                                          

Concert of Sacred Music - Gharb

On Thursday 22 nd March, at the Gharb Parish Church there will be a concert of sacred music, with the title "Lignum Vitæ".  This concert is organised by  Għaqda Mużikali Viżitazzjoni and the Hebron Choir of Għarb Parish Church.  The concert is from 7.00 pm to 9.00 pm.

A Music-Literary evening is going to be held next Saturday 17 th March at the St John the Baptist Rotunda church of Xewkija.  This event will start at 7.00 pm.

An evening of sacred music and reflections is being held at the Gozo Cathedral on Sunday 18 th March from 8.00 pm.  The event is organised by the band Leone.

A concert of sacred music and meditations will be held next Saturday 17 th March at Ta' Pinu National Shrine from 7.00 pm to 9.00 pm.  The concert is being done by Scola Cantorum Jubilate.
