The Ghajnsielem Haunted Garden

The Ghajnsielem Local Council will transform the garden in front of its premises into a spooky haunted village. There one can have the opportunity see a spooky site full of spiders, ghosts and pumpkin faces.

This event will be held between the 29 th October and the 31 st October.

Gozo Kite And Wind International Festival 2021

The Gozo Kite & Wind International Festival is annual event, were also international kite enthusiasts come to participate flying their own kite.

This event will be held on: 15 th October at Wigi Portelli football Ground in Gharb,                                                              from 9.00 am onwards;
                                           16 th and 17 th October at San Dimitri area, from 9.00 am                                                           onwards.

European Mobility Week

"Every year, the European Commission selects a theme which each EU Member State follows in their organisation and planning of the European Mobility Week. The theme for 2019 is SAFE WALKING, SAFE CYCLING thus focusing on active mobility."

I Love Ix-Xendi

Live entertainment by various artists, every Saturday and other days.   Next event is next Saturday 7 th September,  there will be the traditional illumination of bay with torchlight fires and entertainment by Denise Mercieca & Mikaela Bajada.

Il Mondo Canta Maria

On the occasion of the 400 anniversary of the miraculous painting of the Blessed Virgin Mary of Ta’ Pinu, a concert is being held on Saturday 17 th August.  Some of the singers are going to be, Italian singers:  Roberto Martucci, Marco Tanduo, Aurelio Pitino with his Modica Gospel Choir, and Maltese singers: Miriam Christine Borg, Debbie Scerri and Charles Buttigieg.

This event will be held at Ta' Pinu Sanctuary, Parvis, from 8.30 pm to 11.30 pm.

                                          

Cittadella Arts Festival

Starting from Saturday 17 th August to Sat 7 th September, there will be a Festival of Art, Music and Theater at the Citadel.  There will also be other activities, like a walk around the Citadel or an Open Day of the Museums.

Wirja ta' Santa Marija

The yearly and popular agricultural show, will be held at the Villa Rundle Garden on:

Nadur Customs, Art and Culture 2019

"This is an activity held at Dar Dun Frangisk Grima, in a rustic townhouse in the heart of one of Gozo’s main villages.
Visitors will be able to see a unique collection of artefacts, tools, and instruments that were of everyday use in the past. There will also be exhibited for the first time a unique collection of musical instruments, many of them handmade. One can also visit the underground shelter that was used by residents during World War II.
A group of local artists will also be exhibiting their work."
This event will be held from 10.00 am to 4.00 pm, at the Dar Dun Frangisk Grima, Racecourse Street, Nadur.

Vigil of the Easter of the Assumption

"The National Shrine of Ta’ Pinu, Gozo is celebrating a Marian Year to commemorate the 400 anniversary of the miraculous painting of the Blessed Virgin Mary of Ta’ Pinu."

On Wednesday 14 th August, the Bishop of Gozo Mgr. Mario Grech together with Mgr. Giovanni Cefai MSSP, newly bishop in Peru will lead the Vigil Celebration Mass for the feast of Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

This event will held from 8.00 pm to 11.00 pm, at Ta' Pinu Sanctuary, Parvis.


I Love Ix-Xlendi

On Saturday 17 th August, 8.30 pm to 12.30 am, there will be the traditional illumination of bay with torchlight fires.  At 9.00 pm there will be Festa Band at various streets in Xlendi.


Xlendi Sunset Festival

"Join for a jam-packed line up featuring the most popular local artist of the hour – Michela Pace, Lighthouse and also the most charismatic group on the island Manatapu – who will play for the first time in the beautiful island of Gozo. DJ Ruby will then steal the show with his all time classics.
Bars with wine, beers, spirits and food will be open from 19.00 onwards. Entrance is FREE!"
This event will be held on Friday 16 th August, from 7.00 pm.
