A Cartography Exhibition is being held at the Xewkija Windmill, Gozo.  The exhibition is held in collaboration with the Spanish Embassy in Malta.

The exhibition is open everyday from 8.30 am to 8.00 pm, until the 2 nd June.  The entrance is free.

The Ghajnsielem Haunted Garden

The Ghajnsielem Local Council will transform the garden in front of its premises into a spooky haunted village. There one can have the opportunity see a spooky site full of spiders, ghosts and pumpkin faces.

This event will be held between the 29 th October and the 31 st October.

STANCE, Norma Cili, Plein-air paintings of Gozo and other places

An art exhibition of Norma Cilia, is being held at the Il-Ħaġar / Heart of Gozo Museum, St George's Square, Victoria, Gozo.

The exhibition is open everyday from 9.00 am to 7.00 pm, until the 23 rd of March.  The entrance is free.

Gozo Film Festival

This is the third year of the "Gozo Film Festival".  In these three days, Local and International Filmmakers will offer the public to view their Films for free.

This event will be held between Friday 23 rd August and Sunday 25 th August, from 8.30 pm to 11.30 pm, at the Citadel.

Wirja ta' Santa Marija

The yearly and popular agricultural show, will be held at the Villa Rundle Garden on:

Wednesday 14 th August, from 7.00 pm to 11.00pm, and

Teatru Astra’s 50th Anniversary Exhibition

"The exhibition celebrates the 50 years of life of Teatru Astra, the island’s first commercial theater which opened its doors to the public in January 1968. The exhibition will be open daily from the 21st October to the 30th November from 9.00am to 5.00pm. A commemorative booklet will also be available for sale. Free entrance."

The exhibition is being held at  Il-Hagar - Heart of Gozo Museum, St. George's Square.

Environmental Awareness at Nadur Public Library

"A morning of eco-stories and songs for all ages at Nadur Public Library!

On the day: Wasteserv will be delivering an Environmental Awareness talk and discussion & Nadur Public Library will be officially receiving a book donation by HSBC.

FREE master classes in Violin, Piano and Clarinet

"As part of the mini-festival MUSIC+ (September-October) the Classique Foundation will be organizing FREE master classes in Violin, Piano and Clarinet. These will be conducted by Professors from the Conservatorio Giuseppe Verdi, Milan and the University of Arts, Tirana, Albania. These master classes will be held in Gozo on Saturday 29th September 2018 between 9.00 and 12.30. Applications and other details will be out soon."

Open Day for Museums and Sites

"Tomorrow, the Ġgantija Temples & Ta’ Kola Windmill (Xagħra, Gozo) and the Gozo Museum of Archaeology, Old Prison, Gozo Nature Museum & Gran Castello Historic House (Citadel, Gozo) will be open on FREE admission!

Opening hours: from 09.00 till 17.00hrs (last admission at 16.30hrs).

Additionally, Heritage Malta’s museums at the Citadel will open on free admission in the evening, from 19.30hrs till midnight, as part of the Gozo Alive activities."

Free Comic Book Day (Malta)

This is not in Gozo, but I thought to let you know the same.

"Join us this year as we will be giving away comics for free to anyone who visits us either at the the Public Library in Floriana from 9am-12pm or at the Bay Street shopping complex from 2pm-5pm. As always, Free Comic Book Day would not be possible without the help of the National Book Council and Wicked Comics, who support this event each year.

Free Comics Book day is the perfect occasion to start reading comics, discover new characters and explore new worlds. With a vast range of comics available for free, comics book enthusiasts and new readers will both have a tough time selecting their favorite issues. From Marvel to Dc comics, including Image, and other independent publishers, each year the bar is raised in terms of story telling and artwork.

The comics available are suitable for all ages so if you have friends of family members that have never read or wish tog et their hands on some comics, Free Comics Book Day is the event to go to."
