Literary Contest ‘Literature for Young Adults’ 2018

"“Konkors ta’ Kitba – Letteratura għaż-Żgħażagħ” is an annual contest organised by Aġenzija Żgħażagħ and the National Book Council.

The purpose of this contest is to select, reward and publish Maltese novels that are written specifically for young people; novels that explore themes related to adolescence, and the typical situations young people in this stage of their lives are likely to encounter. For this reason, the organisers aim to gradually increase the availability of Maltese literature in this genre, thus sparking young people’s interest and motivation to read books written in Maltese. As a result of this contest, the organisers hope that the submitted manuscripts will be of the highest literary merit."

Summer Book Festival in Gozo, 2018

"Two full days of activities for the public have been prepared as part of the festival, which will take place at Exhibition Hall, Ministry for Gozo, St. Francis Square, Victoria on 22 and 23 June 2018 from 10:00 am till 1:00 pm and 4:00 pm till 7:00 pm on both days."
