Stamp Exhibition - 12-3-2018

A stamp exhibition is going to be held at the Il-Haġar - Heart of Gozo Museum, St. George's Square, Victoria and it is going to be from Monday 12 th March to Monday 2 nd April.  The exhibition is being organised by the Gozo Philatetic Society.   The entrance is free.

Open from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm everyday.


                                          

Enemalta Scheduled Maintenance - Nadur 13-3-2018

On the 13-3-2018,  Enemalta plc will be having a scheduled Maintenance which may result in power suspension in Nadur between 8.30 am and 2.30 pm in the following streets:

A pilgrimage with the statue of Christ the Redeemer will going to be held today 9 th March in Qala from 6.00 pm, after there will be a mass.

The Azure Window – Looking Beyond

"Dwejra beyond the fallen Azure Window.

A day full of events and activities including:
Fun Walks to explore the surroundings of Dwejra;
Exhibitions;
Zip Line by the ERRC;
Archery by the Victoria Scout Group.

There will also be free boat rides at the Inland Sea."

These activities are being held on Sunday 11 th March from 10.00 am to 2.00 pm.

Vintage Motors Festival 2018

"The FMVA announces that this year's VMF will be held on Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th March 2018. It will start at St. Elmo in Valletta and Finish in Ghajnsielem in Gozo.

The details are as follows:

There will be 3 rotating shows in: Qala, Ghansielem & Zebbug. This means that all 3 different shows will "rotate" and visit all 3 villages. The times will be from 9.00 till 11.00, 11.15 to 13.15 and 13.00 to 15.30. All times approximate and depend on traffic conditions.  

There will also be a pictorial Treasure Hunt starting from Marsalforn at 10.00 am with a half-way stop in Dwejra at 11.00 am. Part 2 of this treasure hunt will be at 11.30 and will finish at Ghansielem at 12.30.

Interested persons are advised to attend a driver's briefing to be held at the Old Motor's Club Premises in Mosta on Wednesday 7th March at 7.00pm."

Tieqa tad-Dwejra – A Tribute to the Azure Window

An exhibition by the name "Tieqa Tad-Dwejra" by the artist Patrice Pantin is being held at the Lazuli Art Gallery and it will start from Saturday 10 th March to Sunday 1 st April from 10.00 am to 1.00 pm.   The gallery is open only on Mondays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
