This week is the village feast of Xaghra.  The feast is dedicated to Maria Bambina, the Church being dedicated to the Birth of the Virgin Mary.

Cittadella Museums: Open Weekend

As part of the 'Cittadella Arts Festival', the following museums will be open for free:

Cittadella Visitors’ Centre
Gozo Archaeology Museum
Gozo Nature Museum
Old Prison
Gran Castello Historic House
Cathedral Museum

These Museums will be open for free on Saturday 7 th September and Sunday 8 th September.

I Love Ix-Xendi

Live entertainment by various artists, every Saturday and other days.   Next event is next Saturday 7 th September,  there will be the traditional illumination of bay with torchlight fires and entertainment by Denise Mercieca & Mikaela Bajada.

These events are held at Xlendi Bay, from 8.30 pm to 12.30 am.

Art Exhibition – Cittadella Arts Festival 2019

An art exhibition is being held in Circolo Gozitano, Victoria, from Friday 30 th August to Friday 6 th September.  The paintings are of Kevin Sciberras and represent a number of Maltese iconic spaces.  This exhibition is part of the Cittadella Arts Festival 2019.  Entrance is free.
